If you haven't started watching North of North (available to stream through CBC Gem and APTN's Lumi, recently launched on Netflix as well), do yourself a favour and settle in with this bingeable series. The only problem is that it is only eight episodes long. The premise? "A young Inuk woman wants to build a new future for herself after a spontaneous and extremely public exit from her marriage. It won't be easy in a small Arctic town where everybody knows your business."

The characters are fantastic, the location is breathtaking, and the costuming is gorgeous.
